Royce Lewis Goes 0-for-3 In First Rehab Game
2 years agoMinnesota Twins utility man Royce Lewis (knee) began his rehab assignment on Thursday with Double-A Wichita. He went 0-for-3 with a walk but did steal a base. Lewis is working his way back from surgery to repair a torn ACL that has kept him out of action since the end of May of last season. In 2022, the 23-year-old slashed .300/.317/.550 with a pair of homers, five runs, and five RBI across 12 contests. Fantasy managers should expect Lewis to play in a few more rehab games, and if everything goes well, to return to the Twins and receive everyday playing time.
