11 months agoMinnesota Twins third baseman Royce Lewis is expected to play nearly every day for the club in the 2024 season. The former top prospect's professional career has been ravaged by a variety of injuries and he appeared in just 58 games in the big leagues last season and even suffered a hamstring injury in the postseason. However, he was a monster on the field when healthy as Lewis hit .309 with 15 home runs, six stolen bases, and an .820 OPS across 239 trips to the plate a season ago, good for production 55% superior to the league average, as per his 155 wRC+. "I think we are all pretty excited about getting to spring training with him healthy for the first time in a while," Twins president of baseball operations Derek Falvey said at the recent Winter Meetings in Nashville. His fantasy stock still carries risk given the long line of injury woes.--Brenton Kemp
