Royce Lewis Activated From Injured List
6 months agoThe Minnesota Twins officially reinstated infielder Royce Lewis (quadriceps) from the 10-day injured list on Tuesday and optioned infielder Edouard Julien to Triple-A St. Paul in a corresponding move. Lewis suffered a serious strained right quadriceps muscle on Opening Day but is now ready to return after 10 weeks of rehab. The Twins haven't released their starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the New York Yankees in the Bronx, but Lewis should be in it, and fantasy managers should be ready to throw him right back in there. The 24-year-old power/speed asset went 4-for-23 with eight strikeouts and a walk in 24 plate appearances during his six-game minor-league rehab assignment for St. Paul. Injuries have kept Lewis from reaching his true potential since he was the first overall pick in 2017, but the upside is still very high. Scoop him up immediately if he's somehow available in your league.
