Royce Freeman Set to See More Touches Against the Jets
6 years agoDenver Broncos head coach Vance Joseph says running back Royce Freeman is "hitting his stride" and "... needs more opportunities because he is playing good football.” Great news for fantasy owners. The Jets have allowed four rushing touchdowns to opposing backs this season (tied for the third-most) and ironically, Freeman's three rushing TDs are tied for the third-most among RBs. Currently RB24, Freeman has been a solid RB2 despite playing in a timeshare so a few additional carries would definitely be welcomed. At 3.47 yards per carry, the Jets have allowed the fourth-fewest however, so he remains nothing more than a RB2 this week despite the good news.
