Royce Freeman Leads Texans In Rushing Yards
2 years agoHouston Texans running back Royce Freeman carried the ball 11 times for 51 yards in Sunday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. He also caught a five-yard pass. It was the first action that Freeman had seen all season. With Dameon Pierce (ankle) now on the IR and done for the season, most expected Rex Burkhead and Dare Ogunbowale to share the backfield touches, but Burkhead had no carries, and Freeman out-carried Ogunbowale 11-8. Because of how this offense has struggled to move the ball, fantasy managers should leave Freeman on the waiver wire, even after this solid performance.
