6 years agoThe Kansas City Royals are looking hard at free-agent outfielder Billy Hamilton, who was recently non-tendered by the Reds. The Royals were interested in trading for Hamilton in the past, so this isn't a huge surprise. The rebuilding Royals don't have too many set positions heading into 2019, so Hamilton could carve out a decent role in their outfield if he were to sign with him. The 28-year-old has world-class speed on the diamond and plays a great center field defensively, but his bat just hasn't come around against major league pitching. As they say, you can't steal first base. He had a lowly .299 on-base percentage in 2018 and remains a single-category commodity for fantasy owners.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
