Royals Acquire Tucker Davidson From Angels
1 year agoThe Kansas City Royals acquired left-hander Tucker Davidson from the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday in exchange for cash considerations. The move comes after the Angels designated Davidson for assignment last Thursday. The 27-year-old southpaw struggled in his time with the Halos this year, allowing 25 runs (23 earned) on 44 hits while walking 11 and striking out 31 in 31 2/3 relief innings over 18 appearances out of the bullpen. He also recorded his first two career saves. Davidson will now join Kansas City's bullpen in a long-relief role, which won't give him any fantasy appeal.
