Rowan Wick Snags Save Number Four
4 years agoChicago Cubs relief pitcher Rowan Wick recorded four outs to pick up his fourth save of the season on Tuesday against the Cardinals. Wick seems to be the preferred option to collect saves, but manager David Ross has yet to officially give him the title of closer. Craig Kimbrel entered the year as the closer and despite back-to-back scoreless outings has struggled overall. Wick remains the guy to own if you are looking for saves and it seems like he’d need a bad outing or two to lose the gig.
