Ross Stripling Takes Loss Sunday
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Ross Stripling fell to 8-4 after Sunday's 5-0 loss to the Cardinals. Stripling allowed three runs on four hits (including a solo home run) and no walks with five strikeouts in 3 1/3 innings. The short outing is not a huge surprise, as Stripling is working his way back from a back injury. He now has a 2.77 ERA, 10.00 K/9 rate, and 1.38 BB/9 rate through 117 IP. Hopefully, Stripling will be able to pitch longer and better in his next start Saturday against the Padres.
