Ross Chastain Shows Up In Michigan For Qualifying
1 year agoSome had wondered about Ross Chastain. The Trackhouse Racing driver has struggled in recent weeks. Aside from Nashville, Chastain tended to qualify and place outside the top ten. On Saturday, the No. 1 car ended up second behind Christopher Bell. For awhile, it appeared Chastain may get the pole but ended up 0.027 seconds short. He led 29 laps last year during the early part of the race. As fast as he rose to the front, he fell back to 22nd after qualifying 24th. Can Chastain stay near the front without running into problems? Sunday will be interesting to see if the Chevy can finish inside the top 20 at Michigan.
