1 month agoKeep an eye on Ross Chastain in this weekend's South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Although Chastain didn't make the playoffs this year, he has been strong in the postseason, showing race-winning potential at Watkins Glen before getting the victory at Kansas a few weeks ago. It's definitely worth noting that Kansas is the sister race track to Las Vegas as well. When it comes to track history at Vegas specifically, Chastain has been stellar in the Next Gen era, with four top-five finishes in the five races here in the new car. That includes a fourth-place finish here in March earlier this season despite starting back in 20th. This weekend, Chastain will start from third. At $8,800 on DraftKings, he is a risky pick due to the limited Place Differential upside. However, if Ross is able to dominate a portion of this race and challenge for the win, he could end up delivering for fantasy players. Chastain ranks eighth-fastest in total speed on intermediate tracks this season, although he did mention in an interview during qualifying that he didn't think the car was that great on the super long run, and that the team would have to make some adjustments.--Jordan McAbee
