Ross Chastain Feels The Heat At Darlington
1 year agoRoss Chastain has struggled for awhile this 2023 season. The win at Nashville only masked those problems a bit for the Trackhouse Racing driver. Since then, he has the one top-ten result at Michigan. Other than that, the car has mostly qualified in the 20's. Naturally, Chastain starts the Cook Out Southern 500 from the 27th position on Sunday evening. Maybe the one question that will be answered is this. Does Ross Chastain's top-five late-run speed carry over from Darlington in the Spring? If it does, the No. 1 car has a spot. If not, Chastain may be hoping for attrition and lots of it.
