1 year agoChicago Bears rookie running back Roschon Johnson had a minimal role in the team's Week 9 24-17 loss against the Saints with just three total touches. The rookie running back rushed the ball twice for a mere six yards and caught one pass for nine yards. In the backfield, D'Onta Foreman took the lead, accounting for nearly all the carries by running backs with only three exceptions. Khalil Herbert (ankle) is eligible to return from Injured Reserve in Week 10. If Herbert does make a comeback, Johnson could potentially fall to third in the Bears' running-back hierarchy, significantly impacting his fantasy value. The Bears are slated to face the Panthers in Week 10, a team that has allowed the second-most points to running backs this season.
