Rory McIlroy Begins 2019 At Tournament of Champions
6 years agoRory McIlroy will make his 2019 debut at the Sentry Tournament of Champions. The 29-year-old earned his bid into the event by winning the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March, a tournament that he won by three strokes over second-place finisher Bryson DeChambeau. McIlroy will be focusing most of his energy this season to the PGA Tour and will play less in Europe. The decision makes logical sense if he is trying to yield more consistent results, and there is a chance that he could have a nice rebound season in 2019. The 14-time PGA Tour winner comes into the week priced at $9,600 on DraftKings and is projected to be the ninth highest owned player at slightly under 25 percent.
