Rory McIllroy Continues 2018 Struggles On PGA Tour
7 years agoRory McIllroy, currently the eighth-ranked player in the world according to the official World Golf rankings, struggled mightily at the Valspar Championship. He missed the weekend after shooting rounds of 74 and 73. He is now 2-for-4 in cuts made on the PGA Tour this year. His putting looks to lack confidence, as he has switched putters numerous times since the start of the year, and his ball striking, while still powerful and long, has been inconsistent. He is a very risky option for the Arnold Palmer Invitational this weekend, especially at his price point.
