7 years agoNew York Rangers defenseman Neal Pionk has an impressive stat line this season. The rookie has 11 assists in 19 games, averaging 21:49 time on ice. Due to some key injuries and rather interesting trades involving the New York Rangers blue line, there has been a lot of shuffling around as of late. Look no further than Pionk, who has been taking full advantage. Currently, the young defenseman is on the first line top pairing as well as being on the Rangers primary Power Play unit. Sporting a five-game point streak, Pionk has been on a great run of form (seven assists in last five games). His promotion has been well earned. Fortunately, fantasy owners are oblivious of what Pionk has done, given the fact that he’s available in 85% of Yahoo & ESPN fantasy hockey leagues. Scoop him up if he is available.--Amir Salehnia
