Ronnie Rivers Takes Over As Primary Running Back
1 day agoLos Angeles Rams running back Ronnie Rivers took over as the team's top option in the backfield after Blake Corum (forearm) left with an injury on Sunday against the Seahawks. He led the team with 48 rushing yards on 12 carries and added four catches on five targets for 34 receiving yards. The third-year running back from Fresno State could be the primary backup to RB Kyren Williams in the playoffs since Corum was diagnosed with a fractured forearm and will miss the playoffs. Williams is definitely a high-usage back, leaving Rivers almost no fantasy floor, but he could have an increased role after Corum's injury in Week 18.
