Ronnie Rivers A Dart Throw In Deep Leagues
1 year agoLos Angeles Rams running back Ronnie Rivers was mixed into the rotation in the team's Week 4 win against the Indianapolis Colts. The second-year back proved to be reliable with his play in preseason this year. Rivers got real playing time in Week 4, as he carried the ball nine times for 47 yards and caught both of his targets for 10 yards. Fellow second-year RB Kyren Williams (hip) has been the lead back for the team, but Rivers is establishing himself as his clear backup. Despite being removed from the injury report, Williams may not carry his full workload immediately. Rivers should only be considered in extremely deep leagues in his Week 5 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.
