1 year agoSan Francisco 49ers rookie wide receiver Ronnie Bell scored his first career touchdown on his first career reception in Thursday night's 30-12 win over the New York Giants. The seventh-round pick in this year's draft had a modest day otherwise, catching both of his two targets for 24 yards. While Bell looks like a good fit in the 49ers offense after tonight and a solid preseason, he probably would have remained catchless if not for starting receiver Brandon Aiyuk being sidelined with a shoulder injury. Bell still has a long way to go before fantasy relevance and should be left in the free-agent pool, except in the deepest dynasty leagues.--Brad Beltz - RotoBaller
