Rondale Moore 2021 Outlook: Detonation Set For 2022
3 years agoRondale Moore is literally a bolt of lightning with legs. He is only 5'7", but he is a brick wall, weighing in at 181 lbs. Moore plays with blazing speed and elite explosiveness, and he is a bully with the ball in his hands. He is the best receiver in this class after the catch, and his cat-like reaction time makes it almost impossible to lay a finger on him. His acceleration from a stopped position is among the fastest we have ever seen, and his pure athleticism (4.37 adjusted 40-yard dash (96th percentile); 42.5-inch vertical jump (99th); and 6.68 three-cone (92nd)) is right up there with the elites at the position. However, the element that separates Moore from other explosive players is the raw physicality that he plays with. He is the size of a chihuahua, but he runs like a rottweiler. Unfortunately, we are likely going to have to wait at least one year before he possesses any real fantasy value in redraft leagues. Moore will start out as a gadget player with a limited role , which likely won't warrant a starting spot in fantasy leagues. DeAndre Hopkins and A.J. Green are going to be the main weapons for Kyler Murray, and it is going to take more than one offseason to replace Christian Kirk in the rotation. Add in the fact that the Cardinals are a top-10 rushing offense and it leads to the inescapable conclusion that Moore will not see enough opportunities to be worth drafting in redraft leagues.
