Ronald Jones II To Have Surgery On Finger
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back Ronald Jones II (finger) will have surgery to have a pin placed in his injured pinkie finger on Tuesday. It's unclear when the injury occurred, as Jones managed to play a full game in the win over the Vikings, but it's an ailment that caused teammate Chris Godwin to miss one contest earlier this season. If Jones is unable to go, the Buccaneers would likely turn to some combination of Leonard Fournette and LeSean McCoy, with the former operating as the lead back. Whether it's Jones or Fournette leading the backfield, it will be a tough matchup against an improved Falcons' front that has allowed the eighth-fewest fantasy points per game to halfbacks.
