Ronald Jones II Erupts For 198 Scrimmage Yards, One Score
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back Ronald Jones II had a monster game in a 46-23 romp of the Panthers. Jones turned 24 touches into a career-high 198 scrimmage yards, including a 98-yard scamper to the end zone. Amazingly, Jones fumbled on his first touch of the game- a play that would surely have warranted a benching from head coach Bruce Arians. However, Arians stuck with the 23-year-old, who proceeded to have perhaps the best game of his career. This backfield will likely always be back-and-forth, but it sure seems like Jones wrenched it back out of Leonard Fournette's hands after out-touching him 24-10. Jones will look to stay red hot against the Rams in Week 11.
