Ronald Guzman Signs Minor-League Deal With Yankees
3 years agoThe New York Yankees signed free-agent first baseman Ronald Guzman (knee) to a minor-league deal that includes an invitation to Spring Training. He was limited to just seven games last season after suffering a meniscus tear in his right knee in April. The 27-year-old has flashed power with 31 home runs in 737 at-bats over four major-league seasons. The former Texas Ranger is expected to be fully recovered from his knee injury heading into Spring Training. Guzman will have a fresh start in New York, but with no guaranteed full-time role, isn't on the fantasy radar in 2022 even if he makes the big league roster.
