1 year agoChicago White Sox second baseman Romy Gonzalez (shoulder) was placed on the 10-day injured list Monday with right shoulder inflammation, per Chicago Sun Times' Daryl Van Schouwen. Infielder Jose Rodriguez was recalled from Double-A Birmingham in a corresponding move. Gonzalez has struggled mightily at the plate this season, slashing .194/.208/.376 with three home runs, 14 RBI, and seven stolen bases in 97 plate appearances. Rodriguez has slashed just .238/.274/.429 at Double-A this season, so he can be ignored in re-draft fantasy leagues at this time.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
