Romeo Doubs Quiet In Week 16
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs caught 3-of-6 targets and gained 36 yards during the team's 26-20 victory over the Miami Dolphins. It was a disappointing performance for the rookie in what was a plus matchup on paper. Teammate Christian Watson even left the game due to a knee injury, but the targets were fed to Allen Lazard instead. Doubs will have increased fantasy value next week against the division-rival Minnesota Vikings if Watson ends up missing the game. We have seen the 22-year-old heavily involved when either Lazard or Watson are missing, so he would be considered a FLEX option against a Minnesota defense that is allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to the wide receiver position. If Watson does play, Doubs is nothing more than a desperation FLEX in 14-16 team leagues.
