Romeo Doubs Looking Good During OTAs
1 year agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs has made a favorable impression at OTAs, so much so that the team believes he's ready to take his game to another level. "Rome has done a nice job of really making that next step," said head coach Matt LaFleur. "He's doing a great job getting his feet on the ground, running violent routes, violent cuts. Being aggressive with his hands. I think he's shown a lot of progress." The 23-year-old appeared in 13 games as a rookie, amassing 42 catches for 425 yards and three touchdowns. Of course, he'll mostly compete with Christian Watson and Aaron Jones for receptions this season. However, Doubs has plenty of room to surpass his numbers from last season, especially since he's seeing plenty of attention from quarterback Jordan Love, who will take over the offense after the Packers traded Aaron Rodgers to the Jets.
