Roman Quinn Bats Leadoff, Drives In Run
6 years agoAfter tweaking his hamstring Saturday and subsequently sitting out Sunday's game, Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Roman Quinn returned to action Monday, batting leadoff. Taking on the Washingon Nationals, the rookie smacked an RBI triple in the third inning, putting the Phillies on the board. It was his only hit of the game but continued his hot-hitting recent form, as the 25-year-old is now hitting .350 this season, including .476 over his last seven. His play has begun to take over playing time from established outfielder Odubel Herrera.
