Roman Josi Not Suiting Up On Thursday
16 seconds agoNashville Predators defenseman Roman Josi (upper body) will not suit up on Thursday evening against the Winnipeg Jets. Head coach Andrew Brunette noted that the star defenseman is viewed as "day-to-day." Josi suffered this injury during Tuesday's contest against the Florida Panthers. He was evaluated following the game and appears to have potentially avoided a significant injury. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status as he could return to the lineup either Saturday or Sunday if he continues to be viewed as "day-to-day." Before the injury, the 34-year-old tallied three points (three helpers) over his last five contests, adding nine shots on goal with 13 blocks. While Josi remains sidelined, fantasy managers should expect Brady Skjei to move up to the top pairing and power-play unit.
