Roki Sasaki Strikes Out Five In Spring Debut
11 seconds agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Roki Sasaki made his much-anticipated spring debut in Tuesday's 4-2 Cactus League win over the Reds. MLBs No. 1-ranked prospect overall after coming over from Japan's NPB came on in relief of starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto and logged three innings of work. The appearance did not disappoint and reassured those who may have drafted the him already. Over the three innings, Sasaki yielded two hits and a walk while striking out five batters as he hit 99-plus mph on the radar gun multiple times. The righty is expected to make his regular season debut during the Tokyo Series that runs March 18-19. He looks fairly priced right now around his NFBC ADP of 97, right where RotoBaller ranks the 23-year-old.
