Roger Sloan Carries Appealing DFS Price At Congaree
3 years agoAn argument could be made that Roger Sloan is a much better player than his DFS price would suggest. Over his last 36 rounds, Sloan ranks 24th in strokes gained off the tee, 12th in strokes gained on approach and 17th in good drives gained out of all the players in this field. Sloan is a much better ball-striker than he gets credit for, as he has gained strokes in ball-striking in 12 consecutive measured starts. Sloan's weakness comes with his short game, but he actually ranks 26th in sand saves over his last 36 rounds, so he should be more than comfortable with Congaree's expansive waste bunkers. While he lacks elite upside, Congaree fits Sloan's skillset to a tee, and he projects as one of the more sensible options in his price range.
