2 years agoThe Colorado Rockies have claimed catcher Austin Wynns off waivers from the Los Angeles Dodgers on Thursday, according to Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post. The Dodgers designated the 32-year-old for assignment on Sunday after appearing in six games and batting .154 with no home runs or stolen bases and adding two RBI across 14 plate appearances. Wynns gives the Rockies some more depth at the backstop position, as the club had just two catchers on their 40-man roster before the transaction. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect this to have any effect on fantasy baseball.--Spencer Seguin
