Robinson Chirinos At Designated Hitter Monday
6 years agoTexas Rangers catcher Robinson Chirinos will get the chance to be the designated hitter Monday. The Rangers seem to be finding every chance to get Chirinos out from behind the plate, as this is the third time in five games he will not have caught. However, the Rangers want to keep Chirinos' bat in the lineup. He has arguably not had as much success when facing left-handed pitchers this season. However, he still has a .262 ISO and a .372 wOBA in 74 plate appearances. Hitting sixth makes Chirinos a solid DFS play Monday.
