Robinson Cano Picks Up Three Hits In Defeat
6 years agoAfter striking out three times in his team's most recent game, New York Mets infielder Robinson Cano was much better in Thursday's defeat. The veteran picked up three hits, including an RBI double in the third, as the Mets fought their way back from a four-run deficit. It was only his third multi-hit game this month, but New York ultimately fell short, losing 7-6. In his final appearance of the game, he reached on an infield single to keep a ninth-inning rally going. Ultimately, it fell short, but Cano raised his batting average to .257, still on target for a career-worst.
