Buffalo Sabres goaltender Robin Lehner posted a strong performance and earned the second star of the game in a 2-1 shooutout loss at the hands of the offensive-powerhouse Vegas Golden Knights on Saturday. Buffalo’s offense didn’t provide much help, scoring just one goal in regulation. Lehner did his part, making 33 saves during the match and kept Vegas off the board for most of the game until Knights forward Deryk Engelland beat Lehner with less than five minutes to go in the third period. Lehner managed to keep Buffalo alive in the shootout, stopping three of the five shots he faced. Any Buffalo goaltender comes with a word of caution before being added or even considered, as the team has struggled to produce wins this season. That being said, Lehner could be an outside option for any fantasy team desperate for a goalie that earns consistent starts and faces a ton of shots. Lehner now owns a 14-24-9 record with a 2.91 goals-against average and .911 save percentage this season.--Alex McKenzie
