Robin Lehner Impressive Again In Monday's Road Victory
6 years agoNew York Islanders goaltender Robin Lehner allowed just one goal on 40 shots in Monday's 3-1 road victory against the Buffalo Sabres. Only right wing Kyle Okposo, a former Islanders player, was able to pierce the impenetrable wall of Lehner, and that came on the power play midway through the final period. He hadn't allowed a goal in over 167 minutes in the crease. It also helped that budding superstar center Jack Eichel left the game early due to an undisclosed injury. Lehner will look to keep the good times rolling when the Chicago Blackhawks pay a visit to the Island on Thursday.
