Roberto Osuna Has Court Date Pushed Back to September
6 years agoNewly-acquired Houston Astros reliever Roberto Osuna has had his next court date pushed back until Sept. 5. This essentially means that he will be free from any further possible punishment until that date. Osuna is eligible to return from his 75-game domestic violence suspension on Sunday. His morality aside, there is no debating that Osuna is a fantastic pitcher. It is not clear whether or not Osuna will take over the closer's role immediately, but he should usurp Hector Rondon at some point. He has been great during his minor league rehab appearances as he did not allow a single run across six innings of work.
