Robert Woods Falls Back To Earth In Week 5
5 years agoLos Angeles Rams wide receiver Robert Woods returned to a secondary role in the team’s 30-29 defeat to the Seattle Seahawks; he finished with five receptions on nine targets for 48 yards. Woods’ performance on Thursday night wasn’t surprising, and he still saw a considerable amount of targets, but he remains unable to find the red-zone and appears to be solidly behind teammate Cooper Kupp on the depth chart. With Brandin Cooks (head) in concussion protocol, the veteran wide receiver will have the volume to sustain WR2 value, but fantasy owners should downgrade Woods’ floor to that of a WR3.
