Robert Williams III Will Miss First Half Of Season
2 years agoBoston Celtics center Robert Williams III underwent a knee procedure back in September that was only supposed to keep him out for about four to six weeks. After receiving a platelet-rich plasma injection on Monday, their hope is that he returns sometime in December or January, but it could take even longer. This is a big blow to the Celtics, as he was the anchor of their defense. In fantasy formats with more than one Injured Reserve spot, he's worth keeping. With that being said, it sounds like this injury is cause for larger concern and should be monitored throughout the first couple of months this season.
