Robert Tonyan Records One Reception In Week 10
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers tight end Robert Tonyan caught his lone target and gained eight yards during the team's 31-28 overtime victory over the Dallas Cowboys. It was the lowest stat line of the season for the 28-year-old. The Packers threw the ball only 20 times Sunday, electing to run the ball at a high rate in an attempt to have a more balanced approach on offense. Tonyan was left as the odd man out, with the wide receiver corps seeing most of the targets. Thankfully, Tonyan was not a recommended fantasy starter this week, so many left him on the bench due to the tough matchup. The passing volume in Green Bay should come down after this performance compared to the first nine weeks of the season, making the veteran tight end a bit more risky as a fantasy option. Tennessee is a much better matchup for Tonyan this week, making him a borderline streaming option in Week 11.
