Robert Tonyan Off The Fantasy Radar Despite Plus Matchup
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers tight end Robert Tonyan will go on the road to face the Miami Dolphins in Week 16. The 28-year-old has failed to top four targets since Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills and has yet to finish higher than TE19 since Week 6. Rookie wide receiver Romeo Doubs returned to the offense last week after suffering an ankle injury in Week 9 against Detroit, adding more competition for targets. With an average of just 15 yards per game over the last six weeks, Tonyan is not a viable streaming option despite the plus matchup against Miami. The Dolphins allow the third-most fantasy points per game to the tight end position. However, the veteran is not targeted nearly enough to consider starting him in the second round of the fantasy playoffs. Leave Tonyan on the waiver wire in favor of a better option this week.
