3 years agoThe New York Mets activated relief pitcher Robert Gsellman (lat) from the 60-day injured list on Saturday. Starting pitcher Tylor Megill was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move. Gsellman should get at least one appearance out of the bullpen this weekend. He was sidelined for over three months with a right lat strain. The 28-year-old has appeared in 15 games this year and he has a 3.71 ERA and a 1.20 WHIP. He has been much more effective on the mound this year than last year, when he had an ugly 9.64 ERA and 2.14 WHIP.
