Robby Anderson Will Look To Build On Breakout Campaign
3 years agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver Robby Anderson will look to build off of a career-best 2020 campaign in his second year in Joe Brady's offense this season. Anderson operated as something of a target hog for Carolina last year, turning a career-high 136 targets- 10th in the league- into 95 receptions and 1,096 yards, both the best marks of his career. Best of all, the former Jet will be reunited with quarterback Sam Darnold, who latched onto Anderson as his favorite target in the wideout's last two years in New York. Anderson will have to contend with fellow receiver D.J. Moore and All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey for targets, though his past rapport with Darnold could help him in that regard. Anderson makes for a fine WR3 in both standard and PPR formats.
