Robby Anderson A Solid Flex Option Against Houston
3 years agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver Robby Anderson draws a favorable matchup in Week 3 against the Texans. Anderson has disappointed in terms of overall production, totaling just four receptions through two weeks of play. However, there are reasons to be encouraged, namely the fact that he's been on the field for at least 74 percent of the snaps in each game- and that he has accrued the highest percentage share of his team's targeted air yards, 37.8 percent, the 17th-highest mark in the league. Fantasy managers may be wary of going back to Anderson, but the matchup might be too good to pass up, as the Texans allowed the eighth-most receiving yards to opposing teams last year- and they don't appear to be an improved unit. Anderson should be able to post solid WR3 numbers in this matchup.
