Robbie Ray Rolls Over Marlins
3 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Robbie Ray had another excellent outing versus the Marlins on Wednesday, limiting them to one run over six innings. One of the four hits he surrendered in the contest was a Starling Marte home run in the sixth as he walked one and struck out six in the 96-pitch outing. Ray moved to 5-3 on the season in the 3-1 win, lowering his ERA to 3.35 and his WHIP to 1.13 with 103 punchouts in 80 2/3 IP on the year. The southpaw has rebounded nicely after several underwhelming years in Arizona and should be a fantasy asset for managers the rest of the way. He'll look to improve upon his numbers again in next week's tilt against the Mariners at home in Buffalo.
