Robbie Ray Holds Blue Jays To One Run Over Six Innings
2 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Robbie Ray turned in his sixth consecutive quality start against the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday. He pitched six innings and allowed three hits, two walks and one earned run while striking out six. The only damage came on a solo home run from George Springer in the sixth inning. The 30-year-old is now 7-6 with a 3.51 ERA and a 1.11 WHIP over 18 starts on the year. His numbers have remained down from his AL Cy Young award-winning 2021 campaign, but he's still maintained high-end fantasy production. He's lined up to make his next start against the Texas Rangers on Friday.
