Robbie Ray Has Successful Surgery
2 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Robbie Ray (elbow) underwent successful Tommy John surgery on Wednesday. This is a disappointing end to the season for the left-hander, who was only able to make one start this season. He's expected to be sidelined until mid-season in 2024 after undergoing flexor tendon repair surgery and a full UCL reconstruction. The 31-year-old has three years left on a massive five-year deal he signed with Seattle. Fantasy managers in redraft formats can safely drop Ray.
