Robbie Ray Gives Up Four Runs In No-Decision
6 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starter Robbie Ray allowed four runs on four hits and four walks while striking out seven over 4 1/3 innings on Saturday night. Ray did not factor into the decision despite exiting the game with a 15-4 lead, as he failed to complete five innings. Ray once again struggled with home runs, allowing three on Saturday night. He has now surrendered 10 earned runs and five home runs over his last two starts, a far cry from his six-inning shutout of the Marlins in his first start off the DL. Ray continues to strike out batters at a high clip, but his control and home run issues are severely hindering his performance. Owners looking to protect their ratios may want to selectively start him moving forward.
