6 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Robbie Ray figures to be the player whose name comes up the most this week at the winter meetings. Zack Greinke remains a difficult player to trade because he's owed around $95 million over the next three years with a partial no-trade clause. Ray is projected to make $6.1 million in 2019 and has the stuff of a front-line pitcher despite not being as good as he was in 2017. The Diamondbacks are holding a "really high bar" in their asking price for Ray. The left-hander went 6-2 with a 3.93 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 12.0 K/9 in 24 starts in 2018.
