Robbie Grossman Gets Clean MRI Results
3 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Robbie Grossman (groin) underwent an MRI on his right groin after suffering groin tightness in Tuesday's game against the Boston Red Sox. According to Grossman, the MRI came back negative, but the veteran stated that he is still feeling sore. The team is uncertain at this point whether or not Grossman will require a stint on the injured list, but he will most likely be on the bench for Wednesday's game. Tigers beat writer Cody Stavenhagen, who reported the news about Grossman's MRI, stated that outfielder Daz Cameron was in the Tigers' clubhouse on Wednesday morning, suggesting that Cameron may have been called up from Triple-A to take Grossman's roster spot, though no official move has been announced yet.
