Robbie Grossman Day-To-Day With Knee Injury
2 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Robbie Grossman (knee) fouled a ball off of his knee in the eighth inning of Friday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. He was removed from the game after the incident and Willi Castro came in to replace him. Grossman received X-rays on his knee after the game and they came back negative. He is being considered day-to-day. Grossman was activated from the injured list prior to Friday's game after missing about 10 days due to neck spasms. The 32-year-old veteran has yet to find himself at the plate this year. Over 43 games, he's slashing just .201/.312/.243 and he is still searching for his first home run on the year.
